Why is it that...

when you are having something delivered or fixed you cannot get a set time for that person's arrival. All you get is a time estimate.

Delivery guys called this morning to say when they'd be here to deliver my new couches. The time they gave me was ............between 2 and 4, possibly an hour earlier. :-5
So now I can't take my daughter swimming like I promised. :rolleyes:

oh your quite lucky sheryl, here we are given an estimate of 8am to 6pm & i think it would be fair to say its always delivered in the last hour :rolleyes:

arghhh I'd be raising hell with a time estimate like that buttercup.
I hate it in the winter when the heater breaks down, and you call for a repairman and they say it'll be a few days. :rolleyes:
