i was wondering with all the recent big post counts how long everyone had actually been here or how long fg has been up & running? maybe someone could let me know

first time ive put a poll up so hope it appears ok :-3

I think Im right at or just past a year. Its been a nice ride all in all. Very few unpleasantries along the way. Ill try harder next year. :p

Well I think that FG has been around for about 2 years now judging by the join dates of the first few people that joined. Perhaps Admin could enlighten us, then we can have an FG anniversary party!!

Ah so this month is the two year anniversary of FG, if that doesn't call for a celebration nothing does. Here's too Tombstone and Anastrophe for keeping such a fantastic place up and running for the last 2 years, and here's for a lot more to come in the future!! :yh_party

Acording to the members' list, Anastrophe's been here since July '04, with Tombstone joining in August. That must've been the start.

I joined in August 2004. Looking at my post count, I am one of the quiet members here.:wah:

Indeed. The only other chat forum I've ever really been associated with was the Virtual Irish Pub, Mark 1. I didn't care for any of the remakes. That goes back about 12 years now.

Well it just goes to show how many great people and discussions we have had over the last 2 years, to keep FG going and still carrying on strong today.

Yep that's so true. I know that a lot of young people would never consider having any older friends, but if they actually took the time to get to know some of them, and even meet them, as I had the pleasure of doing, than they would get to know that there are so many people out there that they could become good friends with, and they all don't have to be of their own age group.

In the gray boxes that all our names and stuff are in, it says "Join Date", so it's pretty easy to tell how long a person has been here.

Oh rats I had forget about that, um.......... I'm not saying another word until I hear from my lawyer!! Besides those handcuffs weren't mine I just er borrowed them from someone who also happens to reside in FG. But my lips are sealed on that!!!

I wish I had, but with only 2 days there I didn't get to see a whole lot, I will get back mind you.

Doesn't it make you wonder how word got out by just those 3 starting members???? Anyone here recommend this place to anyone else, I sent word to Raven to join, beyond that everyone has been new to me.

Yep does make you wonder doesn't it. I'm guessing it just started with a few people looking for a forum to join, saw this one, and thought "why not, looks like fun," And before long people were joining every day, and over time turned into the great place we know today.

There is no choice for between 3 months and 1 year and that is how long Ive been here.

If I remember right, and FG was only a month old when I joined, I was shocked that it was such a new forum yet had so many active members. Right before this thread was started, I was wondering if anyone else had been here as long as I have. I am going to have to go through the members list some day, when I have all day LOL, and see who all was here about the time I joined. Quite a few times I have about said the heck with it, but something has always kept me coming back.

Welcome onsekiz.:-6 One day, one year, or longer, all the members are just as important. I think that is part of what has kept me coming back.
