Went to a really cool car show, it was at my church after services today. Here is my friend Patty and me, we are both teachers. Now you will know how teachers goof off during summer vacation. (I have the cowboy hat on)

The pink cadillac driver looked like Elvis-no kidding! He had a guitar in the back seat and an Elvis outfit inside, he must have been an Elvis impersonator. They had a '55 Chevy, and alot of other cars.

Would love to go to a car show some time! Rick used to go to one every year in Canfield, Ohio. Does't go any more, as the friends he went with stopped going.

Gotta love the old Caddies I still miss my 1971 Cadillac Coupe DeVille what a car driving it was like floating on a cloud...:driving:

Yes chonsi (It was nice you thought of me) I do love to go to Cars shows, I go to one or more a year. Last week we went to our local New England Casino, & they had a mini car show in the halls of the Casino. Customized Cars beyond belief, paint jobs on them looked just like "GLASS"! Chrome this & Chrome that, fender skirts, 3" wide White Walls, rolled & pleated leather interiors, just breathtaking!

I know you would have liked them too. Actually we are going back to the Casino later on this morning, (We have tickets to see "TOM JONES" there tonight) hopefully they'll have different Cars there again.

Yep CARLA you're right, I had a White 71 Caddie convert, with Black Rag top, & "RED" leather interior! Driving it was like floating on a cloud! Today with most cars being FWD, they can't get them to give that "floating ride feeling"!

Anyway, we just got a new Car Saturday morning, & we put it to the test, as we went to a BBQ party Saturday afternoon that took us on a 145 mile (R/T) trip. The car gave us a smooth, comfortable, "Quiet", ride, but still lacked that "floating" feeling!

BTW, it did get 29mpg, so that gave me a great feeling!

("29" is great mpg in the "USA")
