She'll learn from our vocabularies. It will be interesting to see how different the conversations are after a month.

Seriously. Could anyone fill me in with the background to this "chatbot?" Is it an AI learning program? Or just a clever (sometimes) bit of programming?

This newer version of mother, although it is a few months, is better then the original. She really doesn't retain memory, and will forget who you are every time.

I completely confused it earlier so suggested it should take a pill and calm down ...

One of the funniest things I found about this bot.. is how quickly I started treating it as a human. Annebelle was on.. and when she left, she appeerantly felt the need to say good-bye.. and so did I?!?! Now that is a curious thing.. isn't that a little like telling a police officer thank-you when they hand you a ticket? It's just being polite, I know.. but.... that was pretty wierd.
