PLEASE be careful.

It is with a worried heart that I bid the man a farewell for 10 days this morning as he heads out on his annual bike trip. He got news last nite that his bike buddy is in the hospital along with his wife. Seems they were riding down the hiway and were clipped by a horse trailer and it caused him to collide with his wife. He has lost his spleen, has a rib that punctured his lung and is not doing well at all and will be air lifted home tomorrow. She has suffered a broken arm and other lesser injuries.

It takes a mere second and your life can change and you guys and gals on your bikes please please be safe.

You're right Minks...bikers take care.

I have 1st hand experience of bike accidents with my husband, son and daughter. I've seen broken arms (both at the same time (no joke)), broken legs and broken collar bones. I've lost count of the times I've had to rush to A&E.
