The other morning, on the way to work I asked my husband.."What is Manchester United?" He said "A British Soccer team, why?" Apparently, the night before, I dreamt I was going from store to store..somewhere..looking for a souvenier of Manchester United..and I woke up having no clue what it was, or what I was looking for it!!

Thanks Chonsi. Maybe I should go to Arnolds trade thread and ask for one. I could trade a football souvenier.

Hahaha nice dream Marie, but I hope that the souvenir you were supposed to be looking for was something ugly, and boring, just the way that Manchester United play every season. :wah:

That's what I thought........ Right I think a quick visit to a joke shop is in order to buy some of those fake glasses and a mask to hide myself. :p

No I was talking about the team not the supporters. I think England has some of the greatest, most passionate fans in the world, that go through thick and thin to support their team. I take it from this that you are a Man U fan then DD??

Wow, you must be able to get a lot of the atmosphere then if you only work around the corner from the stadium. I bet it gets really loud.

If there is a match on during the week we have to leave the office early as the the area is full of united fans from all over the world and it gets gridlocked with the traffic.
There is a steady stream of supporters visiting the museum and the mega store:-6

Oh I can imagine, especially during European nights when you will get visited by fans from all kinds of countries. I'm sure they all behave themselves though when they arrive at the stadium, but all go home dis-appointed after getting beat hehehe.

Hmm..seems my innocent dream has kicked up some of the rivalry between the United fans....and those who are not. Guess I will sit back and watch the festivities.

Abbey - surely you're not one of that rare breed that supports Manchester United and is actually FROM Manchester?
I hope so as it would pain me greatly to see someone as sweet as you as a glory-hunter

I always thought is was Liverpool and Leeds at the top of the list - and Arsenel came a lot further down.
