Hello My Friends:-4

Are there special qualities and characteristics among your friends here in the Garden that you truly admire and enjoy on a regular basis?

Well, now is the time to tell them so!

I'll start:

I admire Anastrophe's eloquence. As I've previously noted, I have a word crush on him for his excellent use of language in expressing his thoughts.

I admire Nomad's wit and unfailing humor. He may be twisted;) , but his goodness shines through every single funny post he makes.

I admire Chonsi's kindness. She may be one of the most selfless and loving human beings I've had the pleasure to know.

I admire Baby Rider's tenacity. She's got balls, courage and lots of softness inside. It's been joyous to peel away the layers and find the prize underneath.

Everyone here has a role, we all play a part in the fabric that makes up FG. Each one of us are vital and integral in this web. When one leaves, something is amiss. Its noticed, and when there are new arrivals it makes an impact. Its ever changing and evolving and thats the beauty of it, kind of a microcosm of life itself. Everyone here has touched me in one way or another (sneezer get your hand off my thigh) We're all "special" :rolleyes: in our own ways.

The people here are so diverse and even the ones that 'get up my nose' have a place..... they add interest.



Some have a special place in my heart.



My goodness .... there are folks here that I feel priviledged to know even though we are in cyberland so to speak....and some that I have ACTUALLY met which is incredible.



We have toughness, integrity, humour, humanity, gut wrenching heartache etc...it's all here at FG and I can't name names right now because I would be sure to leave someone out that is incredibly deserving of a mention.



Everyone is special in the own unique way. :-4

Theia, I admire your ability for introspection. Your mirror is clearer than most, and far more accurate than my own, I'm sure.

Nobody can cut through the bullshit like you can. While the rest of us let preconceptions and emotion bump us off the path we think we're traveling, you rise above the fray to get a truer picture and express the truth as no one else can.

Your shell is sweet yet hard, and any crack heals up pretty quickly. It takes work to get beyond it, but doing so revealed a kindness and generosity I honestly didn't expect.

(my goodness this list is long, and includes many I have mentioned and will mention in other posts here. Please, if you feel you fit in it, you are doubtless right; so please accept my apologies for not mentioning you specifically.)



ForumGarden could not survive without you. You are the consistency that keeps the flareups from burning the whole place down. You are the levity that refuses to let politics, religion, and philosophy overwhelm. You are the flowers. :yh_flower



You are the reason many join here. I'm convinced you are the reason for everyone who stays. Too much serious is not good for you.

I am who I am because of the influence of strong women in my life. You ladies blow me away.



For different reasons and circumstances, you have been bowled over with challenges mere mortals would just flee, hiding under some rock until help came to make it all better. But you met the challenges! Rocked back on your heels? Sure. Battered and brused? Of course. Beaten? No way in hell!



I applaud you. I admire you. But most of all, I want you on my side.

Ok here goes, I'll apologize now if I left anyone out.

Accountable-your intelligent but not demeaning to others(like me) who way below. I admire that.

Snooze my fellow perv well that's all I can say there.

Sunny fellow Texan, perv, and hilarious all in one. Can't go wrong there.

JB- love your photos, your sense of humour, your kindness.

Nomad- wacky but intelligent.

Cher and Marie-- both of you are women I think could be great friends with in person.

Theia and Bez-- I love your wisdom and calming peace. Hope to someday be at stage like this in my life.

Chronsi--sweet, intelligent, kind, positive, oh the list could go on forever.

BabyRider--even through all the diversity you are still funny. You stick by your values with no questioning. Very admirable in my eyes. Oh and your wicked sense of humour. A++++

Uncle Kram, Clancy, AronldLane--men I find very admirable for both their humour and knowledge on music.

Spot, Scrat, and the other debators-- While some of your posts go way over my head, it's nice to read a serious debate.

I'm sure I'm missing folks here, but I'll remeber later and post it then. The garden is not the garden if we didn't have our wild mixture of folks.

I admire admin for keeping this place on a good level despite the ups and downs.

I admire everybody else for the interesting insight and unique qualities each and every one of you brings to FG.

Cher: you are fun and there always seems to be a "smile" in your posts. Glad I have met you.

BR: You are having a tough go of life, but you are trying hard to hang in there. I like the way you speak your mind.

Nomad: You are definatly the class clown, but I have seen your warm fuzzy side here too...do'nt worry I won't tell anyone.

Chonsi You seem a kind person, and I think you and Cher would be the ones I would be friends with in Real life.

Sheryl: Another good friend here. Glad we have met. And you play arcade games AND Pogo..you cannot be all bad.

tmbsgrl: I am just getting to know you, but I am starting to like what you have to say.

Accountable, Arnold:. Perfect gentlemen. You always have good, smart words to share and I enjoy reading your posts.

Anastrophe Thanks for keeping the group grounded....and stepping in to remind everyone to just get along.

Gosh, everyone is so nice here. That is why we love it!

Minks makes me laugh, Cher is so sweet, snooze is funny, abbey is a darling, pina is the arcade queen with a heart of gold, floppy is so cool and I believe the wisest of us all, Bez is serene, Marie is as cute as Trixie, rapunzel is truly a sweetheart, buttercup so gracious, sunny makes the day shine, theia is our princess royale, Betty so lovable, Sheryl is so sweet too.....oh my, the list goes on and on...............

Nomad is the funniest, with a golden heart, AC is our gallant gentleman, jb our western star, Arnold our knight in shining armor, Open Mind so gentle and thoughtful, Uncle Kram who always makes our heart smile, Clancy is cool like a good Fender guitar, spot our resource for knowledge and humor...........

I must dig out Santa's list now...................................

it takes time to get to know a person & ive only been here a year, in that time ive seen many threads here at the garden that have made me see people in various lights, those that i admire know who they are :-6

I think that everyone in here has brought something that has caused FG to develop over time into the great place it is now. We have such a varied and mixtured bunch of people from all around the world, of all ages and beliefs. We all agree on some subjects and disagree on others, but that is what makes us all unique and makes FG so special, and a real privelege to be a part of. I've made so many good friends on here, and despite all the high and low points that a lot of us have had either in here or in real life, we have all come out strong, and having such supportive friends here helps that so much.



So a HUGE thank you to you all, for making FG such a wonderful place, and continue to make the Garden a success for years to come.

Betty is amusing, kind and thoughtful and a sweet friend

Bez is gentle, quiet yet very insightful

Chonsi is, well, an angel, she just has to be.

Mom is a very brave lady

Raven and Voodoo are generous hearted sweeties

Young Chris is thoughtful, and kind.

Acc is articulate and intelligent but sensitive with it and always ready to give

Abbey and Pina, arcade champs, are both lovely people

Nomad both inspires and amuses, and he's a really genuine person

I'm in awe of Spot's wit and intelligence and sense of fairness

Open is gentle and considerate

Armold is lovely with a brilliant wit.

Minks is considerate, well informed and a good person

Rapunzel and her family are all lovely

Aussie Pam is sensitive, companionable and such an amusing lady when she posts

Flop always manages to say it just right and her heart is in just the right place.

And Weeder...sadly we drifted apart, but, to me, she still remains a lady who had the ability to make me laugh, she could entertain like a professional comedienne and her heart is in the right place

I'll carry on tomorrow as the sleeper is about to take effect!!

Oh and where is wolvie?

a lot of folks have gone quiet lately, maybe its the hot summer we're having
