Who else besides me, wants to know EXACTLY how Nostradamus did it? We could make a fortune with the national enquirer!:p

I've read a bunch of his stuff. Pretty startling, but of course he had to be very careful. Any predictions he couldn't write off as "poetry" would get him burned at the stake.

I seem to remember that he went into a room in the abbey where he lived. Lit one candle and stared at it without any noise or distraction until he went into a self-hypnotic "trance."

At least that's what my poor failing memory is telling me.

He was interested in astrology, astronomy, magic and the occult. He studied medicine and used 'alternative' and natural remedies.

In the books i have read, it only sais that he had 'Prophetic Flashes' but I would imagine he used astrology a lot, tarot cards etc. There is a story that he told someones future by 'reading' the moles on his back.

okay....who is up for trying to skry and give it a go? hehehehe it's not like we're short of tea leaves in Britain! Lets see if we can predict ourselves into fame! We could even start our own prophetic hot line!

Seriously, how could he have known that 500 years later, he would be more popular? :-2
