I'm not getting the little window that lets me know when I have a pm

just come in...



Not a big deal, I just keep checking for them... but I was just wondering...

Isn't that something you can turn on or off in settings???

Yep, it is. Did you go mess around in your options lately Val? You may have turned that notification off. Can't hurt to go check and see what it's on.

Well, they just messed around with the forum software a day or 2 ago, maybe something got boggled during that...

I wasn't getting email notices about subscribed posts! Luckily, I was swapping emails with Tombstone about another subject and mentioned the problem...he fixed it.

Maybe he needs to know about this?

I have problems replying, i'll do my reply,try to post it and lose FG altogether,

a page comes up "cannot find server" then it takes a couple of minutes to get back into fg.

Val, this problem came up when the smilies went wacky, and Mother died in the garden!

I finally found the Spritis in the Garden Chat and Mother is listed as being present. Maybe she's been silenced by the Killer Smilies!!!! ???

Yes, the "spirit in the garden" is taking a nap. She is kind of tempermental and decided to stop talking to us when I moved her into a new home. :-1
