Hi all!

It's been incredibly hot in Britain at the moment and I have to say I aint its biggest fan. I'm used to my Britain cold wet and miserable the way I like it.:wah:

Any suggestions on how to deal with heat?

Its stopping me sleeping tonight. 1:24 am feeling extremely tired but I know that as soon as I nod off Ill be gasping for air

Come to my flat, it's generally pretty cool, big thick granite walls, it's cool in summer and bloody freezing in the winter! :rolleyes:

hehehe the sea is less than five minutes away too, for a refreshing swim. :-6

I suppose the water isn't too far from where I am. The hubby has already woken up due to the heat...I wonder if the kids would mind getting out of bed for a dip in the river medway lol?

Well it seem we are having a heat wave all over the world at this time. :-6 It is unusually hot here in San Diego as well for this time of year and we have high humidity which wears you the hell out. :-5 I have been staying at the office later to enjoy the Air Conditioning then coming home and turning on every ceiling fan and floor fans I have still miserable sleeping weather period. But the up side is the beach is all of 10 minutes away and the Ocean Breeze and the beautiful Sunsets are worth the drive..
