The perfect spider for Pinky is called a Pink toe ( Avicularia metallica ) she would love it because it has perfect little bright pink toes

Isn't it comforting to know that we eat at a minimum, 2-3 spiders a year while we are sleeping. :-3

Also a spider crawls out of the average household toilet 12.4 times a year.
Just so you know.

When I worked in one for a while when we were skint everything was cooked in beef dripping!
I cooked a meal for a Veggie on saturday night. It had all the right ingredients : Noodles, onions, green pepper, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts and even some Quorn.
The only problem was : I put a Chow Mein sauce in it and right at the bottom of the list of ingredients was : Powdered Chicken

Thankyou for that, Nomad. Here it could be a redback. Grin. Think I'll just duck behind the proverbial tree in future. Except of course the likelihood of meeting bitey creepie crawlies there is probably greater.
And, let's just hope BR doesn't read this thread.
What kind of English spedidlee gets that big, Pinky???

We use these tarantulas in our "Animal Encounters," and they're quite lovely. Here:

Not as lovely in the photo as they are on your hand, though. You needn't worry...unless you're an insect or a tree frog....you're safe!

GUFFAW !!!!!!!!!!!! I was a very bad little girl, BR (okay nothing's changed!!) And I remember one wet afternoon being sent to my room for the usual misdemeanours. Then I noticed that out of the ventilation grid a narsty big spidee was crawling, closely followed by the rest of the nest. My peaceful retreat was ruined.
You'll be pleased to know that my early grade school years had not been wasted. In that time I'd learnt not only how to win all the boys' marbles, but also how to shoot rubber bands with deadly accuracy from a ruler. Need I elaborate further? Those narsty arachnids troubled nobody again not nohow. A shotgun would of course have splattered them even better but might have had some unwanted side effects - like grabbing more unwanted parental attention.

It wouldn't have been much before 4am, Theia. I reckoned she'd read it over her morning coffee.
