When i was really ickle i wanted to be a trolly dolly(air hostess) what about you

a doctor or a nurse....and it still interests me although I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up...LOL!

I wanted to be a soldier, just like my daddy.... but too much "Good" living put paid to that :wah:

I can't remeber what I wanted to be when I was little. I just remeber I always wanted to live somewhere that rained everyday, and have a house filled with books so I could read all day.

I always really wanted to be a forest ranger

At one point a geologist but that was short lived.

I still think a forest ranger would have been a cool job. The pic is from the Mockingbird Lookout the one and only ranger station that my dad took me up to that made me want to be a ranger.

I am not one sadly but hey it's nice to dream.

I thought about being a nurse because I liked nurturing people.

Then maybe a psychologist because I could listen empathetically to people's problems.

Now I'm a legal and medical assistant.

But I still nurture and listen empathetically! :p

I wanted to be a palaeontologist, and dig for dinosaur bones.

I still might do that, one day when I retire. I think it would be fun.

mostly i just wanted to 'grow up' it looked so much fun being big, i never really considered what job i'd do :-2

im actually still wondering what my 'perfect job would be' :p

Uncanny ... this could have been me talking,

I've always had / have, an inherrent desire to help people, either physically or mentally.

The only reason I didn't join the medical profession was down to my parents, which is a long and boring story, so I wont go there. "sigh".

When I told the Careers officer at school that I'd like to be a Doctor or Lawyer, he just shook his head and sighed. He said it was about time I snapped out of it and concentrated on getting a proper job like a Professional footballer or a Pop Star

Mostly I wanted to be older so I could intimidate the rougher boys in school, then I saw Star Wars and I wanted to be a Robot of some kind, then I thought that might be impractical so I wanted to be a scientist and just build robots, who would kick the living sh*t out of the older boys. I did become a scientist, but my efforts at robotics were to say the least unspectacular, which is not surprising seeing as I studied chemistry and spent a lot of time studying the effects of ethanol on my ability to chat up other female students. The results were interesting, but I was unable to come to any firm conclusions as its hard to write up your reports with a hangover while being punched by annoyed women who never understood my noble purpose was simply to further our understanding of immorality in its many forms. Of course knowing what I know now, I should have aspired to be a lawyer specializing in tax-avoidance, where my studies of human immorality would have been aplauded, (though quietly and by very rich people living in houses made out of gold bars).

I always wanted to be a scientist. Do research, study the environment, play around with chemical reactions and save the planet while doing so.

While of all my friends sat playing around with dolls and stuff I was out on the nearby woods and park carrying around my Fisher Price microscope set and my plant and animal handbook and just investigating and studying everything and ANYTHING I came across.

I always wanted to be FBI agent... or a fighter pilot, but back then women weren't agents, or pilots.. My real dream was to be a race car driver.....:driving:
