Ghee, last time I was invited to a soiree-did I spell that right?-it took 30 minutes for them to stick me with the orchestra and I stayed there the whole time.

reminds me of when I was touring a manor home in Ireland and being in such awe that *I* was standing in a real ballroom, I exclaimed LOUDLY, "Wow, is this where they held their balls??" :yh_blush

tiny little pearl buttons on the side man were they ever stylin'...

What's the difference between a dance and a ball, anyway?

Will you wear a tiara? I'll bet Queen Eliz. would lend you some of HER stuff!

Will you have glass slippers?

Do they feed you? How can you eat in those long gloves?

Will they dance the "hokey pokey?" The limbo?

I am a sucker for dares, especially when I'm a bit squiffy.

There were auctions going on, and some poor sod paid £500 quid for an eight-foot teddy bear, which then got danced around the floor by me while everyone was eating:-3 But they dared me to!!!

Hopefully I'll keep myself under control this time, but don't hold your breath!:sneaky:
