I was just sitting at my parents' home back in Harvey, LA watching CNN when I looked at the bottom of the screen. Israel staged an attack that killed 60 people by accident. Now I have a few questions:
1) How do you accidentally bomb a city and kill 60 people?
2) Why did Israel say they would stop bombing for 48 hours asthough to say, "Whoops, dude I know we screwed up."
3) Isn't "accidentally" killing 60 people and then basically saying "Whoops!" kinda like a midget version of Kobe Bryant kicking Shaquille O'Neal in the balls and then saying, "Oh, my bad dude." and trying to walk off before he hits back.
4) With the Prime Minister Fouad Siniora of Lebanon calling off his meeting with Condoleeza Rice, does that mean the US is no longer fighting this battle by proxy?
5) While the rest of the world condemns the actions of Israel, don't you just know that George W. is sitting in the White House with a big smile on his face saying, we finally got those mother ****ers?
With all of this being said, I don't think there will be any peace in the Middle East for a long, long, long time.

the wait is over, my trolling friend.
sorry dude - i'm shoulder to shoulder with israel. they aren't the first to ****-up in battle, they aren't the last. had hezbollah not decided to start lobbing rockets into civilian neighborhoods to begin with, this would never have happened. jordan and egypt have had lasting peace with israel for decades. maybe their other more aggressive neighbors might learn from it.
i hope the israeli's destroy every last islamofascist stupid enough to take them on.
long live israel. warts and all.

Israel has a conscience. Hezbollah has none, and one of its leaders recently said, 'We will defeat Israel because they love life and we love death'.
I don't have the casualty statistics here, but the total number of Hezbollah rockets fired at Israel for the sole purpose of killing civilians is more than 4000 during the past three weeks. Is the UN going to make a formal investigation of that?

I heard of a political cartoon (I haven't been able to find it) that I'll have to describe.
Two fighters are crouched & aiming their rifles at each other. One is a soldier under the Israeli flag, the other is in Arab garb under the Palestinian flag (I think). The Israeli is crouching in front of a baby carriage, The Palestinian is crouching behind a baby carriage.
Does His Bull Ah have a flag?

The only thing worse than lying to someone, is lying to yourself.
ain't that the truth. like refusing to acknowledge that israel has lived for 28 years at peace with their neighbor egypt. and 12 years with their neighbor Jordan.
stop lying not only to yourself, but to everyone else here. you want to punish israel. you hate israel. just come clean and say it. refusing to acknowledge their ability to live in peace says as much, frankly.

To reply, I don't condone any type of "justifiable homicide". I'm not for or against Israel because it's not my fight. Now once they come to my apartment or to my house back in Louisiana then I'll have an issue. I'm not lying to myself. I just don't like when people seemingly follow blindly. As far as things go with the bombing of Qana, I just don't think during a war there is any such thing as an accidental killing unless you are talking about friendly fire. I completely acknowledge the fact that Lebanon has been the aggressor in this little scrum, but with that being said I just find it hard to believe that you can accidentally BOMB not shoot 60+ people. Isn't that what laser-guidance systems and "recon" are for, to avoid such incidents?
In regards to the statement, "The lives of a million Arabs are not worth the fingernail of one Jew" I completely disagree. I don't hold any individual higher than any other. It is when things like this take place that you have disagreements which quickly escalate.
In regards to this load of tripe, I don't hate anyone let alone an entire country. I don't want to punish anyone. I just wish for one day, just one day no one in the world was trying to kill or killing anyone else. I'm an advocate of peace. With all of this being said, notice the light-hearted nature of question 2,3, and 5. "stop lying not only to yourself, but to everyone else here. you want to punish israel. you hate israel. just come clean and say it. refusing to acknowledge their ability to live in peace says as much, frankly."
Now that I've spoken my piece, and it doesn't fall along the lines of mainstream thinking, I hate Israel or more importantly a sympathiser of the Lebanese? That's just bullshit to put it lightly. Based on one of my inalienable rights, don't I have the freedom to feel and speak the way I want without persecution?

You're not being persecuted, imo. You put forth a strong challenge and was answered in kind. Isn't that what you wanted?
