Don't by pepsi in the new can!
Pepsi has a new "patriotic" can coming out with pictures of the Empire State building,and the pledge of allegiance on them.
However,Pepsi left out two little words on the pledge.
" UNDER GOD"'
Pepsi said they did'nt want too offend anyone.
In that case ,we don't want too offend anyone at Pepsi corporate office either!
So ,i'f we don't buy any pepsi product,they will not be offended when they don't recieve our money that has the words "in god we trust" on it.
HOW FAST CAN YOU PASS THIS ALONG????

You might want to go to snopes or whatever website it is that deals with urban legends.
I got this information in an e-mail last summer and passed it on to all of my friends along with your standard "How could they!" only to find out that it was an urban legend and no such cans exist.
Thank goodness - we are a Pepsi, Mt. Dew family!

I LOVE Snopes! There's so much junk on the internet and I hate to see some innocent individual (George Carlin, for example) or even a company (Pepsi) get smeared.

There are all sorts of quotes attributed to George or to Andy Rooney...it makes them crazy! Put their names into Snopes' search engine and see what comes up. (I think BOTH of them are brilliant, too.)

I go to both regularly and check the "whats New" area.

Interesting, isn't it? Sometimes friends are irritated when I return an email they've sent, adding a link to Snopes. But, I think it's just unfair to put untruths out into the world or leave them uncorrected.

Even if this were true, it wouldn't make a difference - I think that pepsi- or coca-
cola are two of the foulest drinks available - worse by a hair are "root beer" and
"dandelion & burdock". Whurp! Sorry about the mess....
