I walked into a backyard some yrs ago and saw a deer about 50 yrds away. I crouched down and watched for a good 5 minutes not wanting to disturb it. But after it didnt move or even flinch I got up and walked over to it. It was a plywood cutout painted all deer like. :o

I was on my morning walk the other day and noticed that my neighbors had a new little beagle puppy. I was talking to him and telling him how good he was for not barking at me, when I walken up to pet him, I realized he was a statue!

We used to have LOTS of rabbits and would see deer prints, but never the deer. I guess they were nocturnal.

You're right CC... deer is better looked at.

I'm not opposed to hunting, you know it's better than them starving to death, but as far as the eating, I'll stick with fish and chicken.
