I just found out today that an old friend died. He got hit by a trucker high on meth. He was only 31 and had 2 small children and a young wife. So tragic.
I think the story is at

How awful for you and for his family. It's especially dreadful when its someone you know, it brings it home to you how short life is. I knew a 19 year old lad who was at college and delivered pizza's in the evenings to help support himself. He was on his way home one night after delivering his last pizza, when a driver flew out of a side road and straight into the side of him! His neck was broken and he now has no feeling and cannot move, from the neck down. He was just 19 for God's sake! How can such things be allowed to happen? :-1

Oh DG that is horrible. Innocents always seem to suffer at the hands of the drunks and druggies. Beams to you and all your friends who are hurting.

This's been a bad week. I know what it's like to lose your father when you're just a kid...you never really recover. I'm sorry!
