hi I am new here

hi there
I am new here, primarily I was attracted to this site because it seems like a good place to talk about anything and to make some friends. where I live everyone is bland and pretty boring and nobody is able to have long deep conversations on a personal level without discussing what is happening in their life or the life of their idol. I am wondering if anybody is from the manchester area in the uk ? as I prefer real life chats but a forum is good enough to have some insights.

I noticed you enjoy having "real" conversations on a deep personal level but those bland and boring pesky people talk about themselves. Can you clarify that for me ?
I also noticed you wanted to have internet conversations. People replied but you didnt.
