Hi everyone,
My name is Michael and i'm living in London. I'm currently looking for a flat and having a garden is the most important thing. Not easy when you want a central location! But I have my little allotment and my Grandpa has given me various plants to help get it off the ground. I love it now!

Big place, London. Is Hoxton "central", to your mind? Or Haggerston?

Hi Michael and Welcome to FG.
Good Luck with finding a garden flat in central London!
I used to pay £1000 a month for mine - and that was 10 years ago!
You'd probably have to have a lottery win now!
Hope you enjoy our online garden for now instead! :-6

Michael hasn't suggested that money is a matter of concern to him, I assume he has an unlimited allowance. We're trying to discover his prefered location at the moment.
If I were going back to central London... I'm not sure. I like Clerkenwell, it has much the feel of Barnsbury where I was previously but it's nearer the City. Of course, if Michael's more attracted to the West End then these musings aren't helpful yet.

Hiya Spot,
Michael gets on with his grandpa and he sounds nice.
Rich people, IMO, aren't generally very nice - they're usually greedy, grasping and full of their own importance. (Maybe I haven't met the right ones though, huh?) :wah:
I liked the City, Camden and St. John's Wood and even Golders Green to a degree. I loved living in Marylebone High Street. But London is NOT a great place to live, once you have kiddies. Michael, why not nick a square of turf from Regent's Park and plant it in a window box? That'd be much cheaper! :wah:
