I was just thinking how it was when I was a child and the excitement i felt when something new was either happening, or i was getting a new toy. You see when your a child the whole world hasn't taking turns fisting you up the ass. When you're a child, you don't have bills to pay, children to raise, and ADULT life to live.

You see the point is, people keep telling me to grow up. Like they are making some astonishing point that i have seemingly not recieved in the 28 or so years i've been on the planet. I don't want to grow up, I want to be toys r us kid the rest of my life.

I want simple things, a simple life. You see I don't like the BS of everyday life. I've been called an a$$hole most of my days. But this is what being childish has given me; the ability to be truthful no matter how mean or hurtful what I'm saying may or may not be.

Basically, don't ask questions you don't want the truth to. don't play games with me, unless it's a board game, a video game, or hey ladies a certain kind of Poker:sneaky: .

You see I'm at the crossroads of my life and when the dust settles and the smoke clears, I'll have to look at my life and wonder if I compromised myself in an effort to live my life.

I've never been perfect and never claimed to be. I've made many mistakes I'll never be forgiven for. But you know what. "you" say grow up, I say screw that. I'm going to keep being me and all my childish self. Play video games, crack jokes, tell you like it is, get excited over a candy bar ( i'm still fat kid dammnit!!!!), and have fun. For all you people that want me to grow up and somehow change who I am, i say;

NAHH NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH YOU CAN"T MAKE ME SO STICK YOUR HEAD IN DOO DOO!!!!!!

We all have the kid in us wolfie, even when we grow up and accept responsibilities.

You have a house to be proud of, hey, why can't you play games night & day if you want?

Life's way too short, stay a kid as long as you can, and enjoy. :-6

Hey Wolverine

They call them grups in a movie I watched....grownups were grups. And the grups just want everybody to be grups too but I'm with you, I like enjoying all the things I always did. I don't mind being responsible but I want to have fun while I am at it.:guitarist

I'm with you, Wolfie. :-6

I have always kept the childlike enthusiasm of meeting new people, doing new things, appreciating all kinds of things that life brings my way

I try to look at it all with the honest, open, nonjudgmental eyes of a child

Life is much better that way :guitarist

That is very commendable, Cher. This is a hard feat as we get on in years and become set in our ways.:-6

It really is harder as we get older, isn't it, Ommmmm?

I refuse to become old and cynical. Absolutely refuse. Life has thrown me its bad stuff occasionally -- I'm not immune to it. But often, if you dig deep enough, you can find *some good* coming out of bad situations.

For example, with our BabyRider -- just look at the outpouring of love and affection that continues to grow every day.

It's a lovely thing to see happening, isn't it? :-6
