The British Prime Minister Tony Blair, has announced that he will leave office within twelve months. However, he has refused to name an exact departure date. Eventhough there seems to be a lot of pressure on Tony Blair to go.

What do you think, Should he go now ?

I should think that many people in this country think that he should go,

and that this nefarious meglomaniac should take his narcissistic self, and

with him his fascist leanings, and jump into a convenient deep hole, which

could then be filled with quicklime and capped with concrete. However,

should he go *now*? Not necessarily. Tomorrow would be fine.

Seems like George is loosing his only friend, before his presidency ends! Guess those who don't like George, don't like Tony either! Ending of an era!

I do wish you'd come straight to the point Bill......:D

My opinion....Not sure about Gordon Brown.....can't imagine that the back stabbing labourites are going to be successful without Tony.....and even more concerned about life under a conservative gov.

Guess I'll just have to vote for those who pay me the highest pension :D

That "avatar" isn't specially intended to mean "I am special!", especially not "I am

more special than "..

So very nicely put but it was his own arrant stupidity in thinking he could lie to the country without suffering a backlash.

It was hilarious watching the "shift over, give us room" as Labour pushed the Tories over to the right.

Too charitable, you forgot he should take his cronies with him.

I always reckon he first got in on the back of John Smith and the respect he gained and not anything he did.

As to who succeeds, can't remember who first used the analogy but it's like watching the passengers on the titanic arguing over who gets the best position on the deckchairs.

If only Robin Cook hadn't died I reckon he would have been in with good chance.

He was the only one with the guts to say "I won't be any party to this" and he gained a lot of respect for it.

Good point. Our MP's are supposed top rulke not the PM. They let him act like a president and have never called him to account, spineless bunch of _(**. I watched the debate about iraq in prliament-it was so obviously a load of rubbish I cannot ubderstand how anyone can actually claim they believed it.

It's not just Iraq, his domestic policies are losing them votes in Scotland. Privatising the NHS and more faith schools were not what people voted for.

He is an ordinary member of parliament that was asked to be PM as leader of the party with the largest majority. He is NOT a president and people did not vote for him as such. We have a system of parliamentary democracy that does not involve voting in a seperate executive and legislature-parliament is sovereign they can vote him out any time they feel like it.

He is supposedly first amongst equals not the one elected specifically to be in charge.

Nor was he voted in by the people but only holds office due to the vagaries of our electoral system that allow a party with less than a third of the electorate voting them to hold power. We had Maggie in power so long for the same reason. We badly need electoral reform but neother of the major parties support the idea as they know all to well neither would ever get a clear majority

He is a corrupt, self seeking megalomaniac convinced he knows better than everyoone else.
