What Did You Have For Dinner?

Post by G-man »

Heya' "Miserable ol' git"! That sig looks almost like it was taken in my basement... 'cept for the door.

I had sirloin tips in a brown gravy with mushrooms tonight... with a few sides and fresh bread. Oh, and a few choc chip cookies, I just baked this afternoon, with tea that I'm having this very moment. :)

I love that picture of Keith and his wife -- it's just great! :)

I made the easiest dinner last night -- chicken with mixed vegetables on a bed of pasta with alfredo sauce

Hubby said it was YUMMY :)

May I join ?

In effect, this was one the hundred questions I would like to put to all of you.

I would like to know what non-italian people have for dinner.

As for me, yesterday I did not have dinner, because I had to go to the dentist...

My family simply had salad, tuna, fruit (banana, apple, peaches)..

Bye

Hello Paola!

Alfredo sauce is a white and creamy sauce. It's delicious (and fattening too!).

It sounds like your family had a very healthy dinner -- good for them! :-6

Yes, we generally have a light dinner: a soup ( in winter only) - followed by vegetables and "affettati" - that is ham steak, raw ham, fish and fruits.

No more cheese, because it fattens up - and my husband need to lose weight on his waistline....:-2 ,

Actually, I grabbed some chocolate chip cookies I made, last night, whilst I poked around in the refrigerator... and finally ended up broiling some ostrich steaks and for some reason I had spinach on my brain so I fixed some spinach with some pasta, as a side dish... :D

I just inserted some CSS code into there, Guppy...

Hmnnn... well no surprises... but I suppose it was a good idea I ate alone, then?

I'm thinking one of several rather unpleasant occurances you could be alluding to. :wah: I'll remember that next time... especially when I'm dining in an Italian restaurant.

Hello Accadue :-6

Velveeta is more of a soft and melted cheese. It comes in a jar. You can heat it and pour it over foods. :)
