It is general, when rubishing someones arguments, to provide a counter argument rather than just insults.

What this comes down to is influence in the regions. We must have control of the regions concerned in order to have access to the resources on the terms we desire. Regardless of the cost, the problem is we cannot lose because if we ever do then we will never see these shores again.
