If you had been born with the opposite gender, what would your name have been?.
My Mom and Dad wanted to call me Kim if I'd been a girl. There used to be a boy who lived near me as a kid, named Kim, and I used to wonder why he had a girls name

Well if Dumbass can be used for both male and female I'm sure they would have stayed with my current name.

Not really sure, but I think it would have been Walter since I'm named after my uncle. His middle name was Sherilyn.

I dunno, only can say originally I was to be a Leslie, ahahahaha but last minute name change by dad and my poor brother came along later and got Leslie as his first name. Smart mom she started right off calling him by his middle name. He NEVER tells anyone his first name.

I was going to be named after the hospital I was born in. St. Theresa. Thank god I was a boy. They had to do a quick rethink. I don't know how I would have survived school as Saint Theresa.

I know my sister was going to be Robert. When I got to meet Margareta I told my parents she was very nice but where was Robert? In the end they had to get me a doll called Robert. He was a girl doll too... geesch. No wonder I'm weird.
My son Mik was asked by his third grade teacher why he was so weird! (Good question for a teacher to ask a kid!!). She told me later that he replied that if she thought he was weird she should see his mum.
I blame Robert.

My mother used to say she'd've named me PENELOPE, if one of her friends hadn't "beaten" her to the name. I'm not fond of pamela...but it's better (IMO) than PENELOPE!

They called her Scarlett. That would have been lovely, but their surname is Balls...
True story!
We all joked that the next one would be Ophelia
My sister's sister-in-law called her daughter Jade. Luckily they had boys after that because they planned to name the next girls Amber and Scarlett - that way they'd have their own set of traffic lights! :wah:
A woman decides to name her new baby after a film star.
The vicar says that's OK.
"What are your calling the baby madam"?
"Orson after Orson Wells. The film star and film director".
The vicar replies, " Do you think that's a good idea Mrs Cart".

I used to work with a chap called Paul Farthing.
When his wife had a baby girl we all tried desperately to persuade him to call his daughter Penny! :wah:
