Welcome, Debbie. Any friend of Capt's has got to be cool. :)

I'd love to see the pictures of your animals. I look forward to seeing them, and getting to know you. I live up the coast from you, several hours drive, but still neighbors of a sort.

I'm new around here, obviously.

Debbie wrote: Hi everybody, I've found my way here from California by way of Dublin of all places. I've already met a few of you there, but I thought I'd come by and see what was going on over here.

I live in Temecula, California, and commute :driving: to San Diego to work, not a fun drive, but it's a living. I have a five acre place with three horses, six dogs, a cat, a sheep, a cow, and six chickens, oh, and a husband too.

In what little free time I have left after working and driving and taking care of the animals and browsing the internet, wait a minute, I don't think I have any free time after that. Well if I find any, I do a bit of sewing and quilting and embroidery. I also like to take lots of pictures, especially of my animals, so you may be seeing a lot of those later. ;)

I'm sure I'll enjoy meeting you all, it seems nice here.

Later, Deb :)

Hi Deb. I just joined too - a couple of days ago. I'm the other side of that big pond called the Pacific, in a country called Australia (you may have heard of it!!) You seem to have an identical set up to our son and family both in size of property and numbers and types of animals. Re photos I have all mine in Webshots but intend posting some to this site when I've learnt my way round.

I just hope I am doing the right thing here. This is my Webshots home page addy in which I have about 25 or more albums. The latest ones are down the bottom. So if anyone's interested have a go at

http://community.webshots.com/user/georgieboy98

Then select the album that sounds most likely to interest you. Perhaps it might be easier if I transferred future pics direct to this site. I'll give it a go with some that I took late yesterday afternoon and see what happens.

best wishes

Debbie. The blue heeler is a real Aussie dog, for sure. We have one lives next door who goes beserk every time another dog walks by. Has to be muzzled whenever he is taken for a walk, but will play all day with me if I let him. (But I make sure I am wearing thick leather gloves!!)
