Hi Everyone! I joined back in January of this year, but only actively posted for about a month. I stopped posting because I felt uncomfortable - not by the original welcome because I received several replies to my initial "hello" thread introducing myself as a new member, but just uncomfortable in general. I knew that several of you had very close relationships and I felt like an outsider - kind of like the "in-law" of the bunch and that you were all related (though I know you are not). I realize that your relationships did not happen overnight, so I thought I would give this another try!! (I'm not usually a quitter.)
Anyway, just wanted to say hello - again. Off and on over the past several months, I have read some of the posts here in the Garden. Most recently, I read all of the posts in the thread about Babyrider's progress (that took me 2 days....LOL) and I have to say I was in complete awe of the outpouring of care, concern, and love that you have for one of your own! This is first and foremost what prompted me to give this another try - I only hope to one day become one of the regulars and form relationships such as those that I can see several of you have formed.
I was very touched by your compassion to someone in need and by the close relationships you have formed.

LOL, Nomad! You actually fooled me with this - - I typed a reply and posted about my "typo" - and all along you had changed my message...LOL - so I had to delete that reply and write this one! That is hysterical! I went back to fix my original post and that's how I figured out what you had done, but I believed you before looking!! See how you have me doubting myself already!! LMAO
Thanks for welcoming me back - it's good to participate again!

Thank you for the welcome and for the words of encouragement - that's exactly what I'm hoping for - new friends and a place to call "home."

Yes. Proper words. Words punctuated correctly. Words in tune with the times.
