Cards are being posted or dropped through letter boxes from a company calling itself PDS Parcel Delivery Service purporting they were unable to deliver a parcel/package, and asking you to ring a number giving details of when you'll be in etc. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT RING THIS NUMBER. IT IS A PREMIUM RATE TELEPHONE NUMBER THAT ORIGINATES IN BELIZE, IN THE CAYMAN ISLANDS. ANYBODY RINGING THAT NUMBER WILL AUTOMATICALLY HAVE £15.00 ADDED TO THEIR NEXT PHONE BILL!

If you receive such a card, please contact the Royal Mail Fraud department IMMEDIATELY on 0207 239 6655, or your local trading standards office.

DON'T KEEP THIS TO YOURSELF - PASS ON THIS INFORMATION TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE VIA E-MAIL. It is only by spreading this right across the board, these cruel and expensive cons are smashed. Thank you.

Last year i had a call and when i picked up the phone it was a generated message

saying they had tried to deliver a parcel and to ring a number to arrange delivery

i realised it was a con and put the phone down and never bothered.

I bet there was lots that did'nt though, thieving swines.
