I think girls are more subtle about their bitchiness!



Boys don't generally do subtle - especially youngish ones, good punch up then a game of football!

I suppose it depends on how you define bitchy. If you equate bitchy with backstabbing / talking behind peoples backs, then I think both men and women are equally as bad as each other. I also think that the younger people are the more negative comments they tend to make about other people, I think it's just a part of growing up or maturing

One thing I liked about my last part-time job in a doctor's office was that it was only the two of us.

It was great *not* hearing gossipy crap from others.

As we all know, offices can be just like high school. I have to wonder why some people *never* outgrow it.

I'd say that women are more prone to gossip, they're more prone to talking in general IMHO! Gossip can be positive and negative and I suppose the negative gossiping could be seen as 'being bitchy'. Men can snipe, back stab and be as sarcastic as women but they tend to be more confrontational about it, rather than saying it to someone else who then tells someone else....

Used to be like that when I was a Special Constable, just because I was young (at the time!) and single I had automatically slept with all the blokes there. Even did it on the snooker table at Dartmouth Naval College when we went there for a night out! (that cue ball rolling around was a bit of a nuisance)

Bitchy? Nah, don't do bitchy unless a smack with a shovel in the forehead counts. Gossip, oh yeah occasionaly with friends and family, but not in general, that can be a dangerous thing to do in a little country like ireland when you are not sure how the person you are talking to is related to the person you are talking about. But men can certainly be malicous and "bitchy" sometimes, but no women in general win hands down on this one I'm afraid, though mostly its pretty harmless(ish) fun and a source of cheap entertainment.
