:wah: Oh Jimbo!
I think it depends-sometimes a soul mate dies, then another one could come along later on in life.
Different, but just as special and essential for them both.

I hope that's right. My husband was a widower when I met him and they had a good marriage from what I can tell. As far as I'm concerned we're soul mates and I hope he feels that way too (he'd just mumble that he doesn't really believe in that sort of stuff!).
He's my best friend, business partner, lover (when we're both not too knackered), companion and the most annoying person in the world when he wants to be but I wouldn't be without him for a second (except when he hogs the tv remote).
I hope that if I was ever on my own that I could find someone who would mean as much to me but I not entirely sure that I would want to.

It's ok if you are, eheheh;)

Soul Mate
I don't even like that term
We're drawn to someone for what ever reason, for what ever our needs are.
Whether spiritual or emotional, whether the force becomes physical,we're drawn to that person. I believe we have several in one's life time.
