new book

I picked up a new book today "The Difficult Woman" by Jeannie Watt. I chose it because the author is the daughter of friends and this is her first book. She's no kid! It is a Harlequin Super Romance, but then SOMEONE has to publish the first book.
It's not too bad. A little better than the run of the mill romance. Her characters are good and her dialogue exciting. The plotting is good, but a little predicable. Of course romances have a formula no matter who writes them.
I think she'll do well if she keeps writing.If you're inclined to some easy reading, give it a try.
