Hi all,
Where shall I begin? Well, my name is Brittney.
(Hence my username.) I am, obviously new to
the forums. I have been home schooled by
both of my parents throughout my entire
nineteen years of life. (In the state of Texas,
to be exact.) I, personally feel I have gained
quite a bit of moral standards for myself. (As
opposed to attending public school, I mean.)
I, as well enjoy creative writing in my spare
time.

Welcome, Brittney. Funny, I have met several young folks who have the same attitude about thier home schooling. That they feel more enriched by the experience.

Hi Brittney
I have a lot of respect for home schooling. It's not for everyone, I'm sure but I think those who can do well by it and those parents who can teach their kids are fortunate in many ways.
We have at least two school teachers here but I don't know about home schoolers.
We have several poets here, look up K.Snyder and Pinky. There may be others too but I don't know offhand.
Why don't you fill out your profile so we can get to know more about you?
I look forward to seeing you around!

Hi and welcome.
I also would have liked to home educate my daughter but circumstances didn't allow. I hope you enjoy your time in the garden.

Hiya B
One of my favorite families in my neighborhood has SEVEN children that were all home-schooled. They are mature and bright and respectful and interested in what others have to say.
I think their home schooling had a lot to do with it.
Buster and I welcome you to the Garden :-6

Hi Brittney, I am also new here and still testing the waters.
Now you are nineteen are you still being home schooled or have you finished with education? Your parents must have been very patient people. I can't imagine home schooling my son, I wouldn't know where to start!
