My hubby *loves* his electronics :rolleyes:

When flat-screen HD televisions came out a few years ago, we had to upgrade every single T.V. in our home to it. He got XM radio for his car (with hookups for it in the house) as soon as it became available.

He just bought a new stereo for our bedroom when the volume control broke on our existing one (which would have been much more inexpensive to just fix it).

It makes him smile.

As long as I have food on my table and my bills are paid, it's easier to live with him happy than not :-6

Thats just it i can't really go mad because its his money ..bloody men ..i just don't get the fascination with toys that go fast

If its any consolation, I don't get it either. Gadgets, cars, fancy TV's and sound systems, remote control this, that, and the other, with digital interactive hi-res la-di-da-di-da are of zero interest to me. Almost seems unmanly to say it. Hang on, just checking. I counted 2.

A few weeks back we went to look at scanners, as I've wanted one for a while.

They had them on offer in Dixon's...nice little basic one that I'd be able to work for £30. But noooo...he says let's look at the flashy ones with fax machine, printer etc...the one we wanted was an end of line item and they didn't have any in and all the rest were too expensive. I tried pointing out that I'd be more than happy with the basic one I saw originally, but of course he wanted one with all the extras, so we still don't have one:-5 When are we ever going to use a fax machine?

We have two complete PC work stations, a His & a Hers. In different rooms ofcourse! (sometimes I e-mail her "what's for lunch", just to be funny!)

I am afraid I am the same way in small aspects. OOOOPS! and I am a girl,

set me free at the perfume counter at MACYS and instant credit card debt.
