Well, Christmas time is here (Yeah)

My favorite time of year.

- As my old friends know, I work in a pharmacy, and I see alot of sadness, and some true miracles. But what Never ceases to amaze me is the Me!Me!ME! mindset passed down from parent to child for the next generation. I see it every day.

-It truly puts my underware in a twist and I wear thongs!!!!!!:wah:

-True story I swear, I just finished helping a youg girl with HIV, and the girl was open, and was talking about having HIV, the people behind her could hear, I asked her if she wanted to go to a private counsultation area , and she said no, she was very open and spoke to schools about sharing needles etc.

Short story-she dropped her credit card and the little boy behind her says,"mama, that lady dropped her magic money card(credit card)" The mother states "Don't touch it!! Shes a bad person and I dont want you to get it" So I said "excuse me"

I went over and picked up the card and the mother was furious that I didnt instantly wait on her, not only is she teaching her child that yourself if the only person that matters, but that becoming a bad person can rub off on you through material items, as I picked up the credit card, I told the boy that you cant catch being a bad person , that comes from within your heart, who you want to be, and treat other people.

-So If my a miracle this lady visits here and reads this, Your never to old to change,learn, and grow up.

People can be such morons, can't they?

oh brother!! reminds me of the STUPID women i have seen in stores who will point me out to their fussy little ones and say "if you don't behave i will have that cop put you in jail" GRRRRRRRRRRR what are they teaching the kids?? not to go to a cop if they get lost??

That really pissed me off there when I saw you claiming to be the center of the universe. Dont step on my toes lil missy. :p

I appreciate you sharing, and glad there are good people still in the world...I am shocked at people, how they quickly judge and are immediately better than others, without knowing important information. I was also impressed with your reaction, don't think I'd be able to say that, due to being so upset...I had a woman be EXTREMLY nasty to my son in a department store one time and I was going through a REALLY hard time, the last thing I needed was this womans' attitude...I was proud of myself that I was able to look at her and say..."Walk in my shoes for a day", with that she huffed and walked away...I was shaking and so upset...happened 2 years ago and still angers me that people are so shallow.

I recall when my oldest daughter was 2 she broke her leg and had a full leg cast from hip to tips of toes, could barely walk but that determined little kid was so independant she always had to try.... sooooo we had to go pick her dad's cousin up at the airpport one day and she insisted upon walking so we slowly made our way around the airport (this was summer and her cast was neon pink). We actually passed a woman who grabbed her child and I heard her say "don't look at her those parents are awful" and she hustled right on past us.

I was blown away.... I have no idea what was going through her head, but I bet she thought we beat our child.... I was stunned.

Ignorance just blows me away.

I had a client once with hepatitis C. She disclosed that in a support group meeting once in which several of my other clients are members. The next day a lady called me demanding to be separated from the other one because she was afraid to breathe the same air and catch "that stuff". So, that night in group I rearranged my seating arrangements and placed the idiot right next to the hep + lady. I have no patience for those that condemn others simply because they refuse to understand.

Kudos to you Indian Princess for standing up for that girl!
