Do you always remove your make up at bedtime? do you cleanse, tone & moisturize as a ritual?

Yep, I wash it all off. And put on night cream. I use baby oil to remove the mascara.

Funny you should ask that, BCup:)
I've just started a new skincare routine -- my sis and sis-in-law said it's time I started taking really good care of my skin. In the past, I've often just removed eye makeup at night (I always do that) but had been too lazy to wash my face. I didn't really worry about it because I didn't break out from it.
But now . . .
I have different moisturizers and different eye creams for day and for night. I use a nice liquid cleanser and toner at both times.
Sometimes I think maybe I'm a sucker to go for all of this. :-3
The skincare line I use is called BioElements. It retails for twice the price I paid, because a friend-of-a-friend is a hairdresser so we used her discount card to buy the stuff at a reseller. I felt better about spending the $$ when I know I paid half-price for it :p

Since you are 'in the business', do you use a special routine for your skin? :-6

As I never wear make up, there is none to remove.
I do have a cleansing and moisturizing routine though. Just moisturizng facial cleanser I use twice a day. That is it.

I'm too lazy to do much at night besides slap on some baby lotion or baby oil. I rarely break out and I still  get carded for everything.
in the morning I wash and use Oil of Olay, I've used it since my early 20's and I think my skin looks best with it. I've tried other creams but my skin doesn't look as good.

Only on days I wear makeup, which is rare, do I take it all off at night. I use creams and moisturizers, not many but enough.

Why would I doll myself up for 6th graders?:wah:
Even when I put it on, it is eye makeup, and some light lipstick. I don't like anything else to put on. Except good perfume.

I'm bad about not washing my face at night. But I do wash it every morning and put on a moisturizer with sunscreen. I use mainly Avon products. But I got the new Biore Heating Blackhead cleansing scrub awhile back and really like it. It heats up as you rub it into your skin.

I usually do, especially if I've had make-up on that day. I use kiss my face because its organic and natural or else I make my own products when I have the time

this is really a bit off-topic, not related to makeup, but is there anything more soothing than a long hot bath?? oooooo it makes me relax, i always have tensed-up muscles, i bought an old-lady shower seat (very cute in pink actually:D ) and i love to sit there and let HOT water pour over me! ahhhhhhhhhh ...i generally wear black eyeliner and always remove it with almay eye-makeup remover pads.

Can't live without that wonderful hot bath.
I use products called Dead Sea Products, I like it - it's expensive.
I recently bought Kukuii oil from Hawaii - Love it - it's not oily and your skin absorbs it, it's known to cure skin problems - rashes etc..
Yes, I moisturize daily.

Im not in the beauty section of the salon cher but the girls swear by 'collin' products. I use any make up remover / toner. I moisturize with 'oil of olay' unless the girls at the salon have a free space or cancellation that blends in with mine - then i get a 'collin' freebie
Do you know what Victoria Principle's line of products is like? it seems to sell well

Did you see this Scot girl ?
Lady Cop just demolished your thread. She subverted and sabotaged your hard work. Shes trying to take over your thread with bath talk ! Are you going to let her get away with that ?

I don't wear foundation but I do have a habit of falling asleep in my mascara. I don't generally moisturize as a rule. Although lately I've been using some face products (cleanser, toner, face cream) from Yves Rocher because it smells good and he doesn't test on animals! That's a huge selling point for me.

I swear by my little electric facial brush, my face steamer, and I also use plain old sugar as a scrub.
I used to take a cornmeal bath: Wet body in shower, scrub with cornmeal, rinse well, soap up with bath brush and rinse. Nothing leaves my skin softer! But the bummer is that you have to clean the tub right after because cornmeal smells icky and also it's greasy and you'll slip and fall if you don't wash out the tub.
Was this TMI??
