In addition, if you can get "chelated" iron supplements, they are more
readily absorbable.
A multi-vitamin with iron is not the best way to go, since iron "fights"
with A, E, and calcium in your gut and you don't get all of any of them!
I take everything in the morning EXCEPT my iron and my C, those I take
at night to keep them as separated from the rest as possible.
Oops forgot one other tip... using iron cookware for cooking!

Go to your doctor before you consider iron tablets. Some suppliments are VERY hard on your stomach.
Other signs of anemia, slow healing wounds and bruises, tingling in hands and or feet.
If you ever are diagnosed with anemia, you likely will not be able to donate blood again.
Lastly anemia may be hereditary.

So you can't boil nails 'till they're soft, then? What about pressure-cooking?
