Ok what are you guys doing for Thanksgiving?

-We are driving about an hour and 15 minutes to see my mother and step dad, and we are going to spend the night and wake up Thanksgiving and smell all the wonderful tastey things while we play board games and cards all day long.

two of my sons will be here...i LOVE cooking a huge turkey and watching them demolish it!!

i am cooking for all my extended family. lots love, lotsa laughing.......:-4

My dad and I will be missing my mom. But we have been invited to our friends' home for Thanksgiving dinner and there will be others there as well. We'll be in good company and will have a good time. These are the people I pet-sit for so I will be happy to see their two dogs and cat. The two dogs they adopted from me.

We are going to my niece's house which is less than an hour away. I'll take tons of devilled eggs which will thrill my 3 nieces. I'll be spending the day with them, Al, my kids, my mom, both my sisters, and my great nephew. It'll be a wonderful day for me.

We are going to be with Rick's step daughter and her family.

It will be a nice day. It is only the second year we have been there for Thanksgiving..so no real traditions yet.

Cooking here at home for all my family. It's the same every year and that's what makes it special, only my sister and her family won't be here this year.

My get together is getting bigger by the day. My mom, stepfather, sister, brother, their families, my granny, my ex inlaws, several of my ex sister in laws and their families and a new friend and his kids. this is going to be very interesting. What can i say....i am a good cook....

If an American marries a Canadian, when do they celebrate Thanksgiving? Why is it different for each? Usually holidays are the same. Well there are others too. I actually spent Thanksgiving alone. Just quiet.....nice.
