i have worked retail for about thirty years. i can not understand why people will stand in line in any kind of weather for hours just to be part of this maddness. there usually is really nothing good on sale and when i ask people why are you in line usually there reply is i like the excitement. what excitement? mad rush is more of the anwser. tazz

This coming Friday after Thanksgiving kicks off the first day of xmas shopping. there will be crowds and crowds. people everywhere. no place to park. lotsa tempers flaring.



i wont be anywhere near town friday......no way.:p

I'm getting the routine oil change that day, no one will be at the garage.........

I am off work that day. have no plans to go shopping anywhere. Will just stay home.

I do not like shopping all that much under normal curcumstances, much less when everyone and thier brother is out.

walmart would hire us for maniac control on that day. and to patrol the place christmas eve, the only time the 24-hour stores would actually lock down and close.

I went shopping just once in my life the day after Thanksgiving I will never do that again..:-3

i have discovered the joy and convenience of online shopping, i just go to my amazon acct. and order DVDs or books that i think people will like, it gets delivered , they even have the addresses on file of those i want to gift! i love it.

I discovered online shopping this year too. beats going to the store anyday. and you have such a wide selection. besides, the fed ex dude is kinda cute.....lol:)

Online shopping is the best. This time of the year you most likely will have free shipping gotta love it.

I am one of those weirdos!! I'll admit it...My niece and I have been going Black Friday shopping for about the last 7 years. It's fun for us...we have fun watching all the crazy people get mad because they think someone butted in front of them in line...or grabbing the sale item, because the next day they will have to pay $2.00 more!! So, I would say it's entertaining more than exciting...I won't be going this year though due to no funds! I'm going to miss it...but at least I get to sleep in on my full stomach!!
