No offense, but it's well known by me that Mondays separate the men from the sissies. Where I'm from, the weaklings who show strain and stress on Monday are the ones we all know got away from the wrath of evolution ... so, we have to tolerate their survival. Normally, survival of the fittest would clean out those who weren't healthy or disciplined enough to function well with the right mental flexibility, but since we have cushy societies and technology, they get to live and reproduce.

My advice on how to improve your Monday? Say thank you to God for letting you escape evolution and be thankful that you are given another chance to fix this problem by NEXT Monday.

Either that or smoke a little weed. I used to wake and bake on Mondays just because they were Mondays - being stoned makes Monday fantastic. Everyone around you is grumpy and unproductive, calling in sick, etc. and there I was, the shining star with the great attitude, entertained just by walking.

Good luck!

- Frank

Frank - sorry weed just doesn't do it for me - would chocolate have the same effect?:)

Like Di's suggestion of shift work but sadly there's not much call for florists in the middle of the night!! Well actually thinking about it men do buy flowers to apologise - perhaps some night time bouquets to say sorry for coming home late, poor performance etc may be a winner. Thanks Di!!:sneaky:

Imladris, chocoloate might work for me! I love it. Florist, eh? Start a new marketing effort by having good-looking guys hand out your flowers for free to women. Flowers that were going to die soon anyway (make use of inventory about to go bad)!

Frank, I live in a small town not known for the quality of it's male residents - where the heck am I going to get good looking guys from?

Unless you come visit of course!!

I don't know how to improve Mondays because I think it's written in the stars or some such thing for them to be more hectic than the other days, but I really love that avi Imladris. That baby's adorable!

Thanks Mystery, that gorgeous little chap is my grandson who is 20 months old and takes delight in telling his auntie Becky (nearly 12) 'nuff' and pointing his finger at her to get the message well and truely over!

You've made my Monday a bit cheerier by making me think of him!!:)

Thinking of my 3 year old makes my days better too :)

He's just as cute as a button. I have a weakness for the little ones for sure. He sounds like a pistol. My son's that way too - he rules the roost for sure! :)

Wow,Playing games with mindless handsome pieces of man candy.

I get a little tingly thinking that we are thought of as play things.

As for Mondays,I am lucky because they are my Fridays and by the time i get too Monday me and my teammates are so tired and goofy from lack of sleep that we just zombie around all night and just get by.This week will good because of a turkey gave up his/her life for me and and my family. It's a big sacrifice for us too be thankful.

I know I'm weird, but I've always liked Mondays. Day of the Moon. And a fabulous day for a moon dance... :sneaky: and other mischief!

Heh ... thanks, but that's gonna be hard to fit into my schedule.

Option B: move near a city!
