I am getting my sinuses fixed at last and I'm bringing Robert Fisks book about the middle east so I can argue with scrat when I come back. Everyone have a good weekend.

I apologize, I shall of course include you in my meandering rantings sir. I must admit I do not completely share Robert Fisks laudabe humanitarianism, but its hard to argue with the mans direct experience, he does know what he talking about, and he is of course a first class journalist and writer, I am looking forward to his book indeed.

Trust me, if the doctor had let me at myself with a compass and a stanley knife I would have done this 12 months ago, but he was banging on about some hypocritical oath etc etc. I shall remember your advice for future events however.

What were your urgent questions my dear hamster, I havn't looked in at the surgery for ages I don't even know where it is, (which is a problem with cyber surgeries its hard to lose actual ones as their addresses are registered in the phone book), if you can bump it up for me, I can do some last minute advice this evening before my date with novocaine tomorrow, though if its about the nature of time, matter, conciousness etc, It will have to wait until the drugs wear off, (then again maybe not!).

I gave up fine for a year and a half and started again 6 months ago, and yes I hate myself for it, I absolutley am going to stop but I won't make a hostage to fortune to being specific about it.

Well I survived unsurprisingly. This is a fancy hospital, they have internet stuff, private rooms, ensuite bathrooms, cable TV, outside phone lines, and edible food, also they seem to have performed my surgery without me having to die which is always a bonus. I was on the operating table yesterday at 4.45 pm and the anethetist asked me was I ready to go under and was I nervous, I replyed I wasn't but I wanted to know if Villa had won just in case I didn't wake up as it would be the first thing me auld fella would have asked me if I met him upstairs, (uncle Kram will understand) they didn't know so I just had to trust that I would wake up and see matc of the day, which obviously i did as I am here now. Only a draw, but I got me operation done and its not too painful, just a bit sore and the nurses are a fine body of women. Anyways, its great that I have this thing done, I can breathe properly again and smell things, and the surgeon didn't bash me up much at all so I am very happy, so what did I miss? :rolleyes:

No seriously Arnie, I couldn't have eaten better in a French prison, the difference between public and private hospitals is a bit of an eye opener let me tell you, I definetly was feeling the effects of the anasthetic last night though, as I found myself getting a bit misty eyed watching Mark Lawrenson on MOTD last night. :-2

Last time I had my sinuses done it was a local and I had to watch all the snot and gore and blood and guts pour outta my nose and run down my face!

They used a long long needle and it was YUCK!

I was put under cause they had to cut these growths out of my nose as well, and poke around a lot and all that, thank god for novocaine thats all I can say, I do look a bit like a lad who got a smack in the mush though. :-3

I feel quite well LC, just a little sore, I am going to have a nap now as I'm tired again and have a go at my Robert Fisk book when I am more able to concentrate. I hope that you are in good spirits today.

I got patches from the doctor, I gave them up for a year before, cold turkey, but I think I may need help this time, its proving difficult, but I will. Thanks for the concern, I know, I hate them too.

I still havent recieved my phlegm in the mail Dr. Gallbladder.
