Just finished watching Open Water. Its based on a true story, however I recall some controversy over that when the film came out.

Anyhoo the story is a couple on vacation go diving. They get left behind in the ocean when a crew member miscounts the passengers. I liked it. It was a good adventure story.

I saw it too. it was sad when she unfastened her vest and went under and let the sharks have her. she couldn't take it anymore.......

a couple in mexico disapeared right before that movie came out. that was part of the controversy.

I haven't seen it, I have tried to watch it but can't to real I have had one to many close encounter with big scarry fish in my youth surfing. :-3

Question do either one of them live to tell the story, or was it just a guess as to what happened to them in open waters???

Question do either one of them live to tell the story, or was it just a guess as to what happened to them in open waters???they were left behind by a dive boat operation. both died. it upset the hell out of me because i am a diver, and the operators are NEVER supposed to haul anchor until all aboard are accounted for.

that is all i could think about too lc. better hope the captain can damn well count. if i got left and survived i do believe i would shoot him when i found him.

Ok Im a little confused Why would a guppy need to get on the boat ? Where do you think your going ? To dinner ? You are dinner !
