One can only imagine the response of the mother and the bride!

-To much power and excuses given to certain individuals that felt too sure.

That's the right response.

It makes no sense for any of us to get worked up *until* we have all the information.

What on earth provoked the officers to shoot - just the area?

Then to shoot several times - was this vehicle being chased? I see a law-suit..

Wondering what the guys did to prompt the shooting. Gee..were they simply too happy? Or guilt by association? In a suspected "bad" area, therefore they are up to no good?

Justified shooting, or a case of shoot first, ask questions later?

OH, well..as LC said, we have to get the facts in front of us before we can judge.

I dont think we should look to lady cop to answer or justify this because she's a cop, i couldent justify or answer every hairdressing decision made just because im a hairdresser. What really annoys me about these type of incidents are even if the cops ARE out of line they are always aquitted

thanks Butter....the incident is being well-investigated. i will try to keep up before i say anything. ..as for bad cops being acquited, the truth is we self-police and internal affairs is one scary bitch. i wouldn't want to be a subject of an investigation! also, i have seen many cops convicted for crimes, ranging from murder to fake prescriptions. we are held to a higher standard, and if one of us ends up in court it is rougher. there are of course exceptions to this too.

I'd like to know if shots were fired before or after one of the officers was hit, and the car was rammed. It's a strange case altogether, and I think the truth will come out whatever it is. Still, though, it's so sad for that family :(
