ForumGarden

I love the Garden because I can find people from all over the world who might or might not share my ideas about one thing or another.

I love the Garden because only a few people expect me to be "politically correct" and only a few expect me to censor my thoughts to suit THEIR idea of what's "ok."

I love the Garden because, despite the pressures of the "politically correct," it's still a place where I can speak out and let my thoughts be heard...a place where those of us who aren't willing to be censored can still be heard and a place where humor is available to let go of our frustrations with the "power structure," etc.

Finally, despite the fact that some of us don't agree with others of us, the Garden is still a place where we can enjoy one another, learn from one another and, finally, try to understand one another.

I enjoy Forum Garden because everybody is just themselves and because there are no moderators to strip whatever they feel like and ruin the fun. It is just like real life with agreements and disagreements and squabbles and fun making up. Great place.:guitarist

Tis a great place to make interesting friends, and enemies.... :wah:

It is adult, we don't have children running amok here blabbing and being fools. We do well enough with that on our own. We do well with our own self governing.

We get to learn things about other people and their culture.

We can choose to debate, agree, argue, or befriend and for the most part just participate in a great communication place freely.

We have one of the largest membership of many forums out there... so at any given time you actually have someone to talk with....

we are open 24 hours.

I love FG, it is my home away from home.

You are my family, and my freinds.

sometimes you dont really know what something means to you until you dont have it anymore, i left for a few months & really missed everyone, its a special place :-6

When I was away and not posting I was lost with out you all--I received emails and they would lighten my load for the day....I had gotten into a terrible "feel sorry for myself state" -and coming back made me realize I needed to grow the hell up and deal with life...So I guess I can say--The FG helps me fight my cancer with avengeance!! Since I'm probably considered a "newbie", I just want to say that I love coming here...I have already met some really nice people....noticed the different personalities, which are all interesting when they come together in one place.

I'm new to the "forum" world, never got on until about 2 months ago, was going to say this before...gonna say it now, my first forum experience was a horrible one. The people were very immature and rude. I came here and found people from all over the world and right in my back yard at the same time....Grown adults that respect (for the most part) each other...Have been impressed with the strong friendships displayed here.

Plus I love everyones pictures!! :wah:

Even when we have big drama's or a crisis we still stay together, sure some members take longer to return than others but they do always come back. What other forum could say that?

Lets keep bumping this thread to remind ourselves of the special group of people we have here, bet there are loads of forum admins out in cyber world that wished they had a membership like this (warts & all ) :-4

Cher, I thought of you & Buster last night, when watching the Eukanuba dog show from Long Beach. The chihuahuas were sooooo charming! And bold! And charismatic!
