As a brief note, forumgarden.com made it into print in the Fashion section of the New York Times this year:On blogs, some cellphone users wonder if an ominous agenda is at work when a phantom ring is triggered by a television or radio broadcast. A writer posting as Koan on forumgarden.com said that at first, songs played on the radio triggered a phantom ring. "Thing is, the high-pitched sounds, although a lot fainter, are still present during announcements now," Koan wrote. "What is this? Is it subliminal advertising ... or something else?"

Peter Arnell, the chief creative officer of Arnell Group in New York and a major force in the marketing business, said that theory might not be far off the mark. Arnell said that he had never been asked by a client to include sounds in an advertisement that would mimic a ringing cellphone but that the increasing use of high-pitched electronic tones might be very much by design.

"People are using a sound trigger to control emotions," Arnell said. "The most controlling device in our life right now is a cellphone."The section was syndicated into the International Herald Tribune technology section (the IHT is more European-based), and echoed to www.nextnature.net/research, digg.com/general_sciences and the Collier Citizen.

Oh, and the UFO review conspiracy journal, but you can't have everything perfect.

I have no idea how.

I'm stunned. It's so cool that forumgarden gets major advertising though!!!

I know it turns up on the first or second page of topical google searches.

From the sounds of article, it turns out I might be right. They are playing bg sounds on the radio to influence people. Subliminal. oooooh.

Though the aliens make for a better sci-fi.

In the "fashion" section, no less. :-2

I still think we can capitalise on this, like abbey said.

we got the music (Galbally) and the looks (Pinky) and the table dancers. I'll write the invitations and we might even get international coverage this time.
