Rick and I went to Outback for our anniversary dinner today. We have a pretty good meal. I had a very large burger...could not even finish it.
We of course got a Bloomin Onion for an appetiser. Also got this crabmeat dip thing. We will probably pass on that one in the future. Neither of us cared for it. .
We do not go to Outback often, but it is a pretty cool place.
No vegemte, though.

Ever have a "Garbage Plate"?
I understand it's a Rochester speciality.

Happy Anniversary
I don't care for the Outback - I love the Texas Steak House - if you have one in your area, you have to try it - love it. Each table has a bucket of peanuts and your encourage to toss the shells on the floor - different - steaks are great..

Was it a crab meat and cream cheese mixture?

I actually heard that the oil from the peanut shells help in some way with the floor...

I never have, but Rick Loves them. A restaurant here, Nick Tahoe's originated the Garbage Plate. Other restaurants have developed thier own version. The other places just cannot call them garbage plates.

Congratulations Marie on your anniversary. I'm glad ya'll had a great night out!
Outback is one of our favorite places to eat out at when we go to Amarillo. I love the bread they serve. I always get the Victoria steak.

I used to love Outback but I got a bad steak last time. The chicken w/bbq sauce, bacon and cheese is good.
Happy Anniversary !

Happy anniversary Marie!
LOL Patsy. We had a heck of a time convincing the kids that you are supposed to toss the shells on the floor. They said that was rude. They'd have no problem doing it at home though! :wah:
