When my Broadband was down for so long, I signed up to Virgin 'dial up'.....it was a life saver. Actually , I must remember to cancel it now.Can't have you being off line....life here just wouldn't be the same :-4

If you have a modem use dialup till it is fixed. If it is a DSL modem unplug everything and plug it back it, and restart your machine. It it through your cable company call them.
Most problems are simple just requires a restart of the modem, and the machine. Of course if the modem is bad then you have a to get a new one ..
