That's kind of a sad story. At least he didn't try to drive home. That's commendable.

Sad? I thought it was hilarious! From the article: "Members of his congregation
were supportive.". I should hope so! We could do with a few more like this.
As for "trying to drive home" in his state, that is absolutely unacceptable for the
vast majority of people here, so I'm not in the least surprised that he didn't try.

Not sad in the usual way, not sorrowful. My bad choice of words. I'm just snickering because most of the clergy I'm aware of get uppity about their congregation imbibing. And here's a bishop with a different viewpoint. :wah:
