Wondering if you guys (or anyone) have been to Busch Gardens?

They've raised their daily ticket prices to $61.95 plus tax for adults

and $51.95 plus tax for children ages 3 to 9!! I guess they figure

you're an "adult" at 10 years old? Coulda fooled me!!



I was just curious, I heard they're fabulous, but that's a massive

amount of money to pay for a ticket!!

that thread title kind of stopped me cold! :rolleyes: .......all the theme parks down here are outrageously expensive, i don't care for any of them, but i can see why people with families would want to attend. they just need to bring shopping bags full of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and be prepared to stand in lines for hours as well as enjoy the sweltering heat and screaming kids while they are waiting ,sheeplike. (i should work for the chamber of commerce, huh?)

Nice things cost big $$$$$! Yes it is beautiful! Worth it, guess so, considering their "upkeep" must be astronomical!

Likewise Disneyword is also beautiful, but costs big $$$$$ indeed:

The Disney animal park in Orlando is FABULOUS! Part of that jungle safari are close enough to Botswana that it took my breath away! And I can assure you, having seen them, that their holding facilities are all state of the art, so to speak.

Val, I live within 30 minutes of Paramounts Kings Dominion in VA...and 2 hours away from Busch Gardens in Williamsburg...I would prefer Busch Gardens over KD any day...but due to convenience we get the season passes, so we can go all summer and get our $$'s worth.

My suggestion is if it is for a vacation and family time, I'd do it...not something that you get to do all the time. I was at the Busch Gardens in FL MANY years ago, so can't give you my opinion on it....Have fun whatever you decide!!

You're not alone sun, seems many locals never visit the local attractions. The out of towners are the ones who make the attractions prosper.

I've never been to Universal Studios! Someone come to visit, so i can take you there!
