I love you dearly, Clancy, and up till a couple of hours ago when I met the new James Bond, I'd have run off with you any time - now my heart is forever with ANOTHER - and together we will demolish Venice, out manoevre villains in the Bahamas, bust the bank at Montenegro and fire off loads of small, medium and large guns... pant pant pant... um, what was the question?

Chonsi - wait right there!!!

There is just no explaining me. Paradox. Walking in the light, with a dark side. Outwardly serene with inner turmoil. Staid, yet driven. Friendly recluse. Eternally hopeful. Aware of the bad but seeking the good. Wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend and aquaintence. Nurse, artist, poet and dreamer. I have no idea why I am here, but I have a purpose for being. I love and respect the soul and spirit of all things, yet I eat meat. If I could walk alone I would, yet I yearn and enjoy the companionship of others. I embrace life, yet have no fear of death. That about sums it up. :yh_bigsmi

I think every person is a collection of stories.

If someone takes the time to listen to the stories, at some point they find the person underneath. How long it takes to get to know someone depends on how much you listen. And what questions you ask.

I like the collection of stories, Koan.

I'm a Dr Who fan and remember, I think in the Five Doctors, when the good doc said "A man is the sum of his memories".

That has stuck in my head. Are we more than our stories, than our memories? IS there anything more? I guess we exist in other people's stories, memories too. But maybe that's not what I mean. I'm still thinking. And I haven't even had my Saturday morning coffee.... I'm so out of here. Grin.

My avatar is a picture that I drew a long time ago, but recently scanned and coloured it on the computer. It's Roy's 'Girl' but an older version, lol.

That's impressive drawing, I'm impressed. I'd have said you're good at colouring in too but that wouldn't have sounded right.

LOL no :) I like to draw every month or so when I have nothing better to do, but that's about it.
