Do you have to do it? does your partner?

Andy's been sent away for a week, i hate it, i miss him, i want him home.

I just dont know how people can cope if this is a regular thing, only happens to us 2 or 3 times a year, 2 or 3 times too many  :-1

My ex started working away when my little girl was three weeks old. He had a choice, he didn't have to do it, I begged him not to do it as I felt I wouldn't be able to cope. Interesting how it quickly turned into me coping far better without him, I soon began to dread him coming home at the weekends. :wah:

Sorry that happened to you both but probably best out of the situation if its going to be like that, not much point being with someone if you dont want to be with them or them with you. I was on my own for a long time, i know what its like, hugs you both

All it did was prove that I could cope without him, at that stage he had me down so low I thought I wouldn't be able to cope, I think he thought that too, only it backfired on him. The marriage was bad way back then anyway, it would have come to an end sooner or later anyway.

I go away for one overnight a year. Rick never has to.

Next year, I will be going away for a week. That will be hard...and I am already feeling a bit guilty.
