BTS misses his children sooooo much. You know when a parent feels so isolated from their children and grandchildren whom they love so much and cannot talk to them.....they get frustrated.........they take it out on the spouse they love.

Ok you all got my drift. It is going to be a sad holiday.

I'm sorry NV. It seems to be a time when any 'shortcomings' in the 'perfect family' setup have some kind of spotlight on them. I hope your Christmas does turn out a happy one.

:( You might remind him that you're missing them just as much. You're in it together. He's not alone.

I do know how BTS feels, because my children and grand children live many miles away and I do have moments when I miss them all terribly. But, somtimes, a new Christmas tradition needs to be put in place..now. If he is lucky enough, as I am, and I'm sure he is, to have a loving spouse there, relax and enjoy the holidays together. He needs to count his blessings, hope his children and grandchildren are having a good Christmas in their lives, and have a good Christmas with you. Do something silly together and make a happy Christmas memory. Grandparents are allowed............we are people too.;)

Tell him I said so. Here's a big hug for you,nvalleyvee!:yh_hugs
